What is NISW
NHS Innovations South West (NISW) is the NHS Innovations Hub for the South West of England, set up to help NHS staff across the 6 counties (Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset & Wiltshire) develop and take forward new innovative ideas – both products and services – to enhance healthcare delivery.
NISW consists of innovation managers, and a network of Trust based Innovation Leaders who will work closely with NHS staff with an aim to bringing these ideas to reality.
A non-profit making organisation, we have a proven track record in developing medical devices, therapeutics, diagnostics, software & service delivery innovations to maximise benefits for patients, NHS staff and the wider healthcare community.
NISW is funded by the Department of Health and the Department of Innovation, Universities & Skills and has its headquarters in Salisbury.
