Rules for Entry

This competition is open only to NHS employees and those contracted by the NHS in the South West of England.
If more than one person nominates an inventor, the first entry received will be the one accepted by the judges.
If you wish to nominate a team then all members of that team must be listed on the application form.
A member of NHS Innovations South West (NISW) may contact either the nominee or the nominator should they require further information before submitting the entry to the judging panel.
NISW will at no time pass your details on to any third party. However in certain cases NISW and its judges may feel that they or other parties or organisations may be able to offer help to progress or add value to the innovation. In such cases NISW reserves the right to contact nominees and invite them, with no obligation, to discuss the proposition with NISW and / or its partnering organisations.
The winners will be announced on the NISW website and through the communications department of the Trust where they are employed. The prizes will be awarded at each Trust.
All entries should be submitted by the following dates: 31st March, 30th June, 30th September, 31st December
